Granted I found this on digg.com first. But I think it's an interesting read and for anyone whose either switched to a Mac, looking to switch to a Mac or is using a Mac/Windows system.

Some interesting comparisons and thoughts on OS X. Lots leaning towards OS Xs favour.

Personally I love using both and have both a Tablet PC, Windows desktop, Mac Cube G4, and a PowerBook.

Touching the best of both worlds is what I say. Others say I'm permiscuous.

The Mac mouse sucks
(and I'm talking about the $50 supermouse)

Mac has no ctrl+mousewheel typefont resizing

Mac (as far as I can find out) has no Right click "save image as" power.

It's NICE to resize a window from any edge.

The dock is such a pain in the ass, always moving around,
evading your point'n'cliks, requiring too much attention from the user
I keep it hidden.

That's not "Mac"... that would be the Safari browser that lacks that bug feature. Just run Firefox on your Mac, and try CMD+wheel. There it is.

In Safari (once again, I have to assume that's what you meant), hold down option when you right click. Hey, lookie... there it is.

It certainly does. Buy a M$ mouse.

      In response to JS_VP's comments:

The Mac Mouse sucks....well no one is forcing anyone to use that mouse specifically. You can plug any USB mouse in to it and it will work. And to be honest it's probably allot better than the mice that you get with most other manufacturers.

I've never needed to use Ctrl+Mousewheel font resizing. If you mean on-screen web text, I have good enough eye sight and a monitor good enough to see text (if you can't...you might wanna invest in a new one) nor do I find it inconvenient to type in a font size when I'm editing documents - something that goes for most people? I use both Mac and Windows for many years and I didn't even know that feature existed til you mentioned it.

I think you'll find that Mac does have right click and Save Image. Or even better. What I tend to do is click, drag and drop the photo directly from an image file in a web browser.

As for resizing windows from any age. True probably for allot of users. I myself always use the bottom right corner to resize anyway. It's a habit.

Dock isn't so much a pain as it is a god send. If you don't like the magnification, you can turn it off. And you yourself mentioned the solution - you can hide it or move it to another portion of your screen.

And if you hate Macs then you're gonna hate future versions of Windows - especially Vista which has so many Mac OS X features.
